Non solo psichedelia. Dopo l’incursione nel black metal con i The Secret, Rocket Panda Management rilancia e, in collaborazione con Associazione Never In, questa volta propone una serata dalle sonorità ambient, doom e trip-hop. In arrivo infatti al Kulturni Dom di Prosecco sabato 9 dicembre i Bosco Sacro, quartetto nato nel 2020 dall’incontro tra diversi apprezzati musicisti della scena underground: Paolo Monti (The Star Pillow, DAIMON), Giulia Parin Zecchin (Julinko), Luca Scotti (Tristan da Cunha) e Francesco Vara (Tristan da Cunha, Altaj).

Continua la stagione autunnale targata ROCKET PANDA MANAGEMENT con una nuova serata di rock psichedelico!!!
Dopo il successo dell’evento di ottobre con il ritorno a Trieste della rock’n’roll band texana DUEL, questa volta saranno le chitarre degli americani HIPPIE DEATH CULT a scaldare il Kulturni dom di Prosecco. L’evento si terrà questo venerdì, 24 novembre nella Casa di cultura, il Kulturni Dom di Prosecco e in collaborazione con l’Associazione Never In.
Star della serata gli HIPPIE DEATH CULT, band hard/psychedelic rock americana.
La band capitanata dalla carismatica cantante e bassista Laura Phillips sta girando l’Europa in lungo e in largo presentando il nuovo album ‘Helichrysum’ uscito qualche settimana fa per l’etichetta indipendente Heavy Psych Sounds Records.
Oltre alla Phillips gli Hippie Death Cult sono anche Eddie Brnabic alla chitarra e Harry Silvers alla batteria.La band ha all’attivo tre album in studio e uno split con il gruppo doom americano High Reeper. Gli HIPPIE DEATH CULT si esibiranno a Trieste per la prima volta!!
Ad aprire la serata una delle migliori band della scena psichedelica locale.
I Samsation sono tre fratelli e un cugino appartenenti alla minoranza slovena, cresciuti tra la campagna slovena e Trieste. Il giovane gruppo si è formato qualche anno fa nella cantina di famiglia. Uniti dall’amore per il rock degli anni 70, traggono ispirazione dalle idee psichedeliche dei The Doors, Deep Purple e da altre band affini.
La band ha appena pubblicato il proprio omonimo EP d’esordio.
La serata proseguirà con il dj set di DJ STONER.

Dopo un tour durato due anni a supporto dell’ultimo album ‘Close’, i Messa hanno annunciato due last show prima di una lunga pausa dai palchi della Penisola. L’occasione per salutarli, almeno per un po’ di tempo, sarà dunque il 2 dicembre al Traffic di Roma e il 15 dicembre al Legend di Milano, tutte le informazioni ai link qui sotto:
La band è reduce dal primo, trionfale tour negli Stati Uniti, con ben 19 date da New York a Los Angeles, passando anche per Miami e New Orleans.
Ma l’avventura oltreoceano dei Messa non finisce qui: la band ha già annunciato su Facebook una data anche per l’anno prossimo sulla West Coast, questa volta al Northwest Terror Fest, festival di extrememetal e hardcore punk. Il Northwest si terrà dal 9 all’11 maggio 2024 a Seattle, tra gli ospiti confermati ci sono iRepulsion, storica formazione statunitense deathgrind attiva dagli anni ’80. ‘Non vediamo l’ora di suonare in quello che sarà il nostro primo festival negli USA, siamo felicissimi! After some months stirring the cauldron in the underground, Italy’s FERAL FORMS emerge from the depths with their first ferocious EP, ‘Premalignant‘.
Comprised of current and former members from Grime, The Secret, Claustrum and Fierce, the 4-piece conjures the unholy Gods of Death Metal and pushes their sound to a new level of tonal corruption, with tension-inducing stop/start angularity and a devouring thrust that would almost sound punk if it wasn’t so molten and creepy. Telluric drums and barbaric riffing collide, resulting in a putrid destructive mass of volcanic low end that incinerates everything in its path.

Founded by Marco and Andrea Abbrescia in 2013, TSO are purveyors of an unadulterated 90s rock sound, crafting songs that brim with infectious hooks, a healthy dose of distortion, melody-driven guitars and melancholic vocals. At times sharp and boisterous but always graceful in its completion, their music freely takes its cue from the likes of Failure and Cave In.
Their upcoming third album ‘Hellcare’ was entirely written, recorded and produced by the Abbrescia brothers in their Slovenia-based studio, with both Marco and Andrea creating the drum parts and embracing vocal duties. Soundscapes are expanding into a dreamlike journey, displaying a rich sonic palette from noise-infused, dissonant gloom to driving and hum-inducing riff-rock, all carried by their powerful baritone vocals. ‘Hellcare’ was recorded at TSO Studio, mixed and mastered by Davide Linzi. The artwork was designed by Jakob Jugovic. It will be issued on vinyl, CD and digital formats through Bandcamp, with preorders starting on Friday 9th, November at this location.
About the themes on ‘Hellcare’, TSO says: ‘Hellcare’ is our yin and yang album, it represents a new expansion in the band universe, both in the bright and dark side, and it’s about the subtle line between good and evil, where does one start and where the other finishes? You can hear these two polarities in songs like ‘Dugout’ which is more meditative, on the other hand, there are some heavy riffs in ìConstraint’. Marco started singing on this album. This is our most personal album yet, and it was entirely recorded in our studio with no external influences.“

Since their inception in Trieste in 2013, TSO released two albums, ‘In-Sanity’ (Irma Records, 2016) and ‘Hearth’ (Edison Box, 2019). They toured a lot as a trio, with different drummers completing the formation, sharing the stage around Europe with bands as Yawning Man, Jucifer, Mondo Generator. Now the trio is ready to deliver its third studio album ‘Hellcare’ in full DIY spirit. TSO have recently taken part in a tribute record to Failure’s ‘Fantastic Planet’ entitled ‘Planète Magnifiée’ and to be released digitally on December 8th, 2023 through Bitume Records.
